Arcadia Home & Living provided this SieMatic kitchen in umbra laminate matt from the Pure collection as supply only. The clients needed help with their new kitchen layout that would work well in their new home extension and the benefits of great lighting, thanks to the glass sliding doors facing the garden.
To achieve this we came up with this unusual but extremely functional design, where the L shaped kitchen island works effectively as a space divider, separating the room in two zones: cooking and entertaining. When entering the room, the breakfast bar in natural Elm immediately invites guests to take a seat, facing the wall mounted TV. The island continues perpendicularly following the line of the skylight above, concealing the structural pillar and resulting perfectly integrated with the architecture of the new space. The kitchen benefits of stainless steel recess channels and dark glass accents side cabinets, with appliances from Neff, Bora and Quooker.
We placed the bora hob in a strategic central position, so that the young couple could oversee their little one whilst cooking, without compromising on the functionality. This central position generates a comfortable cooking triangle with fridge and sink, with a big amount of internal storage for easy organisation.
To complement the kitchen, the clients asked us to incorporate a matching media unit, which adds the final touch of elegance bringing the design together.
Thank you for all your help in designing our new kitchen. We absolutely love it!
